To reduce packaging impact, we focus on minimizing the weight needed to transport each millilitre of formulation, making it recyclable, including recycled content, and/or cutting down its carbon footprint. Each piece of packaging will adopt one or more of these strategies, which we call proof points, with a goal of at least one proofpoint for every pack by 2027.
Helping you recycle
As we work to improve our packaging, we also recognize the importance of helping our customers dispose of packaging responsibly. To support their sustainable choices, we've launched a Packaging Recyclability Guide on our website. This resource offers clear instructions on how to properly recycle our packaging and direct it to the right waste stream.
Responsibly Sourced Materials
The responsible sourcing of nature-based raw materials is a significant focus in our commitment to better packaging. To ensure all the wood, paper, and cardboard we use originates from responsibly-managed sources, we adhere to a strict policy of exclusively procuring certified materials for our primary and secondary packaging, and certified and/or recycled materials for transit and e-commerce boxes.
Against Animal Testing
We have never, and will never test our products on animals. We neither test our finished products on animals nor commission such tests to be conducted on our behalf. We fully support bans on animal testing for cosmetic purposes anywhere in the world. In fact, we are aiming for the gold standard in both cruelty free and vegan. That’s why we are currently undergoing comprehensive 3rd party audits to obtain the Leaping Bunny accreditation from Cruelty Free International and to certify all our products by The Vegan Society.
Suppliers Sustainability Programme
We only want to work with suppliers that share our values. Beyond our Code of Conduct, we encourage Suppliers to adopt strong environmental and social practices. As Sedex members, we collaborate with other companies to audit human rights, worker safety, and governance, while minimising data collection and proactively addressing risks.
